Kestel

The county which is located 12 km to the east of Bursa was called “Kastel”, named after the castle during the Roman Period. The Geyikli Baba Mosque Complex and the centuries-old giant sycamore called “Geyikli Baba Sycamore” in front of the complex are interesting to see in the county, which was a village during the Ottoman Period. Saitabat waterfall and picnic spot near Derekızık village; Gözede Plateau, 15 km away from the town center and Alaçam Plateau 17 km away from the town center are worth seeing as well. The access to the county is provided through the Ankara Road.
